A final release of tickets for Liverpool FC’s pre-season match against Brisbane Roar is now on sale, offering more fans the opportunity to join the Reds’ on their first ever visit to the famous city of Brisbane.

LFC will return to Australia for the first time since their successful 2013 pre-season visit to play Brisbane Roar at Suncorp Stadium on the 17th July 2015.

Billy Hogan, Chief Commercial Officer, Liverpool Football Club,  said: “We are excited to be visiting Brisbane for the first time; the welcome we received from our Australian fans during our visit to Melbourne in 2013 was unbelievable and we hope to be able to engage with as many of our Australian supporters as possible during this visit.

“It’s great to give supporters the chance to see the team up close, no matter how far away from Anfield they live and we are delighted to be able to make this a reality for even more of our fans. The first 45,000 match tickets sold out in one day and I’m sure these remaining tickets will go just as quickly,” he added.

Liverpool FC’s fixture in Queensland is just one part of a programme of activity that the Club is delivering in 2015 to bring Australian fans closer to the team they support. As well as  the first team squad, the touring party will include coaching staff from the Club’s charity, Liverpool FC Foundation, to carry out work in the community throughout the visit as well as taking part in events with official LFC supporters’ clubs.
