Liverpool FC and New Balance today revealed the team’s new away kit for the 2015-16 season during the clubs pre-season tour of Australia.

LFC players Simon Mignolet, Martin Skrtel and new signing James Milner revealed the kit at a special event in King George Square in Brisbane, the first time the club has revealed a kit outside of Liverpool, which also included a live Q & A and signing session with Liverpool legends Ian Rush and Dietmar Hamann.

Reds fans around the world got their first glimpse of the strip at 09.30 (BST) this morning and can immediately purchase the shirt, shorts and socks at the Official LFC Online Store, official club stores and all tour retail outlets.

Liverpool FC’s Simon Mignolet said: “The New Balance away kit looks great and the team are aware of past years where the club has had many successes wearing white away kits. Hopefully this kit can bring us luck away from home next season.”

Details of the away kit produced by the club’s new official kit partner New Balance, incorporate a classic and predominantly white aesthetic with strong accents of red in the collar, crests and taping to the sleeves.

General Manager of New Balance Football, Richard Wright commented on the kit: “There have been many iconic moments from Liverpool FC while wearing a white away kit. Recognising those great achievements was important in the design process but it was also important to give the players and fans a kit that displayed sophisticated design technology. I’m confident this is a design, alongside the other kits in the range, which will be cherished by the fans.”

Billy Hogan, Chief Commercial Officer, Liverpool FC said: “We are very excited to launch the white away kit in partnership with New Balance here in Brisbane as part of our pre-season tour. I believe they have delivered a powerful, fresh take on an important part of the club’s history.”

If these players were as good as winning trophies as they are at posing for photo shoots then they’d be one hell of a team – which sadly they are not.
