Henderson could return into Liverpool’s midfield
Midfield
Lucas Leiva – We’re looking at some variation of a diamond in midfield here, with Lucas anchoring. That should allow our two work-horses, Henderson and Milner to quickly transition between attack and defence, when needed.
Jordan Henderson – If fit, Henderson should start alongside Milner. Liverpool will be needed as much energy and protection in midfield as possible.
James Milner – A no brainer really – has the big game experience against United and knows what it takes to win at Old Trafford.
Roberto Firmino – Firmino is an obvious choice to be the creative outlet at the tip of the diamond. He’ll be something of an unknown quantity to United and could give their anchorman/defensive midfielder a hell of a ride.
