How Liverpool should lineup against Southampton

Allen believes he can stake his claim under Jurgen Klop and needs to show that tonight

The Welsh midfielder may find himself with a start tonight

Lucas Leiva – Missing the game at the weekend ended up being a positive thing for Lucas, as the Reds still won and he got a (albeit forced) rest. Which means that one of Klopp’s key men shouldn’t have any trouble managing the game tonight and Newcastle at the weekend.

Joe Allen – It’s in matches like this that Joe Allen has to take his chances, as with Jordan Henderson’s return he’s unlikely to get too many. It will be interesting to see how Allen adapts tonight.
