Emre Can – It was a mixed game for Can on Sunday, with a host of great moments peppered with his characteristic rashness and many misplaced passes. Tonight, Can was imperious in midfield, dominating City’s more expensive and far more experienced pair of Fernandinho and Fernando. Rating – 7.5
Jordan Henderson – The captain pulled back a little tonight and allowed Emre Can to run the show, and it worked. In a less involved role, he was able to keep things simple and was quietly improved on his recent displays. Rating – 6.5
