Liverpool are targeting a move for Leicester winger Riyad Mahrez, according to France Football. The Algerian international is a also a target for Arsenal, Tottenham, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain, the French magazine reports.
Mahrez has been in scintillating form this season as he has led Leicester to the Premier League title. The 25 year old has scored 18 goals and providing 11 assists in 38 matches this season and was named the PFA player of the year for his accomplishments, as part of Claudio Ranieri’s side which has played beyond anyone’s expectations this campaign.
Mahrez’s agent Kamel Bengougam has said it is “50/50” whether he stays at the King Power stadium this summer or leaves for another club. The Algerian had previously commented that he would prefer to stay in England rather than leave and return to his home town club PSG.
