Stuttgart winger Filip Kostic is the subject of interest from Liverpool, according to reports in Germany. Newspaper Bild have suggested that the 23 year old is on Jurgen Klopp’s radar.
Schalke are also interested in the Serbian international, and although he does have a contract to 2019, the German paper believes he will almost certainly be leaving Stuttgart this summer as he looks to establish himself as a first team regular at international level.
Kostic usually plays on the left wing and has had a good season playing for the Bundesliga club. He has started 32 times this campaign, scoring 5 goals and providing 5 assists.
He joined Stuttgart from Groningen in 2014 for €6million, and it has been suggested that the Dutch club will get 15% of any future fee for the player so the Reds may need to increase any bid they make in order to compensate the German club for the amount that would be lost to Groningen.
Kostic is very strong with the ball at his feet, with dribbling and crossing two of his main strengths.
