Liverpool are leading the chase for Turkish international Emre Mor, according to ESPN FC. The 18 year old was a surprise inclusion in Fatih Terim’s 23 man squad for the European Championships in France.

Mor was born in Denmark but has Turkish ancestry and only made his debut for his club, Danish Superliga side FC Nordsjælland, back in November. He came on as a second half substitute against Randers FC in a 1-0 defeat. Subsequently he has established himself in the first team, scoring 2 goals and providing 2 assists in 13 appearances in the league this season.

The attacking midfielder played for Denmark at Under 19 level before opting to play for Turkey. He made his senior international debut on Sunday against Montenegro and was given a place in final squad for the Euros, a rise not dissimilar to that of Marcus Rashford.

Mor has also been linked with moves to Manchester United, Ajax and Borussia Dortmund but the Reds seem to be the club in pole position currently.
