Guingamp central midfielder Ludovic Blas has been approached by Liverpool about moving to the Premier League side, according to L’Equipe.

The French newspaper believes the Reds, Inter Milan and Ligue One club Lyon have all contacted Blas’s agent regarding a possible transfer. The 18 year old made his debut in Ligue One for Guingamp against Bordeaux back in mid December and went on to make 16 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring one goal and providing two assists.

He impressed scouts even more at the European Under 19 Championships for France this summer, scoring two goals in 5 appearances as the French won the tournament. Playing on the right wing, rather than in a more familiar role in central midfield, Blas scored a goal in the 4-0 win over Italy in the final.

Blas has reportedly two years left on his contract with Guingamp but it is believed that Lyon had an approach for the player rebuffed by his club. Whether Lyon return to make another offer, or whether the Reds or Inter will make a move for Blas, it is not certain.
