With Loris Karius sidelined for eight to ten weeks after breaking his hand in the 1-0 defeat against Chelsea, speculation has increased that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will again look to bring in another keeper.

Calciomercato.com are suggesting that the Reds may consider a move for AC Milan’s out of favour stopper Diego Lopez. The 34 year old is not in AC Milan manager Vincenzo Montella’s plans for the new season with young keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma becoming first choice at the San Siro, and the Rossoneri are keen on getting Lopez off the club’s wage bill.

He has a contract until 2018 but he is earning €2.5million a year sitting on the bench for the Serie A club and calciomercato.com are reporting Anfield could be a possible destination after hopes of a move to Chelsea faded with manager Antonio Conte content with Bosnian keeper Asmir Begovic being backup to first choice Thibaut Courtois at Stamford Bridge.
