Liverpool scouts are watching both Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Ante Coric and Hajduk Split youngster Toma Basic, according to Tribal Football.
The Reds have a good scouting network in the region thanks to Serbian assistant manager Zeljko Buvac which has already paid dividends with the signing of Marko Grujic in the summer.
Coric has been consistently linked with the Reds in the English, Croatian and Italian media over the past few months, with the Croatian international even stating back in August he was a medical away from signing for a unnamed club (believed to be the Reds).
Basic though is a new name which has emerged from the rumour mill in the last few days. The 19 year old midfielder made his debut for Split at the start of the 2015/16 season but only made 5 appearances last campaign. He has however become a first team regular at the start of this season with two goals and one assist in ten appearances in all competitions.
