Radio Goal 24 in Italy have suggested that Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet could be a future target for either Inter Milan or AC Milan.

The Belgian international has lost his place in the Reds side to Loris Karius and has expressed his desire for first team football in the media over the last week. If he fails to regain his place in the side, a move to Italy could be on the cards, according to the Italian radio station.

Both Milan sides currently have established number ones in Gianluigi Donnarumma at Milan and Samir Handanovic at Inter. Both however have been linked with moves away from their respective clubs in recent months.

Donnarumma is Italy’s brightest young star after making his debut in goal for Milan at just 16 but he has been linked with a move to Italian champions Juventus to replace the ageing Gianluigi Buffon. Donnarumma is however believed to be happy to stay at the San Siro.

Handanovic meanwhile was heavily linked with both Chelsea and Arsenal at the end of last season but there have been no further links since then so it looks like a move to one of these clubs for Mignolet isn’t that likely currently.
