The agent and father of Kylian Mbappe has told a French newspaper that his son is not happy about his playing situation currently at Monaco.

Mbappe has been linked with a move to Liverpool, Arsenal, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain in the past week and has been likened by Barca scouts to Thierry Henry. Mbappe’s father told French sports publication L’Equipe (quotes via Tuttosport) that they may look for a move in January if Monaco can’t give the forward more minutes on the pitch:

“I do not understand the management of the Monaco against my son. I see that Kylian is not happy. He has a great desire to play and to feel an integral part of a project and if things do not change between now and January we will make some reflections already in January.”

Mbappe has played just three matches this season after impressing in his first campaign for Monaco. He started the first league match of this season against Guingamp but a head injury he sustained in that match has kept him out until mid September. He has yet to return to the starting lineup though and has been on the bench for the last four matches, coming on in just one league match for eight minutes in a 7-0 win over Metz where he provided an assist.
