Liverpool are monitoring PSV midfielder Luciano Narsingh, according to Tuttosport. The Italian newspaper say the Dutch international is a potential alternative to Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan, who has also been linked with the Reds.

Narsingh has played over 100 times for PSV since his debut in 2012 and has 16 caps for the Netherlands. The winger has ancestors of Indian and Suriname in origin but he started out at Ajax, in his home city of Amsterdam, alongside his brother.

Both players did not make the grade at the famed academy but Luciano was given a second chance with Heerenveen. He made his debut back in 2008 and excelled in his four year stint at the club before his move to PSV.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has discussed previously the lack of wingers in the Reds’ squad, and the 26 year old would be a realistic target if Liverpool decided to make a move in the January transfer window.
