According to the printed version of German outlet Bild (via The Telegraph,) £34 million would be enough for a club to sign Reds target Javier Hernandez from Bayer Leverkusen.

The report in Bild claims that it is Chelsea looking to sign the Mexican striker at the moment and it is for that price that the German club would be willing to sell their main forward.

That could be of interest to us, of course, with the likes of The Mirror, amongst other outlets, linking us with the former Manchester United man in recent weeks.

It appears, then, that a deal could be done if we are willing to meet Leverkusen’s valuation and manage to beat off Chelsea’s interest as we fight with them on the pitch for the Premier League title.

Hernandez has five goals in the Bundesliga and an assist this season and knows the Premier League, too, from his days at Old Trafford.

Is £34 million a good price, Reds? Let us know below!
