There was a huge part of us thinking on Sunday that Matip should have been thrown on even if he was crocked.
We really missed the former Schalke man and so naturally we’re pretty beside ourselves with joy that he should be back for this game against the Hammers. The man looks the calmest of all 54,000-odd people at Anfield when he’s out on that pitch and long may it continue. It’ll be good to see him back, in case you haven’t got that.
