We’re still savouring that win last night at Everton and who can blame us? It was truly astounding.
After riding the early pressure of the Toffees at the start of the match we grew into the game and for most of it, looked like the only team that was going to win.
The second half, in particular, was incredibly one-sided and we duly got our rewards thanks to Sadio Mane’s quick thinking to hit home from a rebounded Daniel Sturridge effort.
The win takes us to second in the Premier League table behind Chelsea and now the chase is really on with two games at Anfield coming up in quick succession.
