January has disappointed in more ways than one this season with performances on the pitch and in the transfer market not good enough.
Plenty of people to do with both have come in for criticism, too, with one man on the pitch certainly getting his fair share of flak – Daniel Sturridge.
The England international has not been at the races this season and looks a shadow of his former self leading The Mirror to claim that he will be sold in the summer ahead of next season.
The ex-Chelsea man has not had much of a career under Jurgen Klopp since the German came in in 2015 and it appears that there may now be no way back for him with the club.
Who comes in to replace him remains to be seen with the report claiming Jurgen wants Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Dortmund (we can’t see that) or Inaki Williams from Athletic Bilbao.
