It’s been a bleak old January for the Reds and now we’re hoping that we can at least get some players in before the window shuts next week.

We’re still yet to sign anyone this month and that’s really harmed our title challenge as well as seeing us put in a tired display to lose against Southampton last night to go out of the EFL Cup.

We’ve been linked with plenty of players, though, and so it’s likely we just haven’t managed to persuade clubs to sell up.

Even so, there’s still time to get some players in and, according to The Daily Mail, one reported Reds target could be on the move.

Leon Bailey is being linked with us, Chelsea and Everton as well as plenty of other clubs around Europe but apparently it’s Hull who have made an offer worth £10.3 million to sign him up.

Surely, then, if we think he’s good enough we can stretch to that, though a bidding war could now ensue.

Worth a punt, Reds? Let us know below!
