According to The Daily Mail, the Reds are amongst a whole host of clubs that are keeping tabs on young striker Ben Brereton.
The youngster currently plays for Nottingham Forest U23’s and has a fantastic 15 goals in 20 games so far this season meaning he’s clearly got an eye for goal.
What’s more impressive is that he is playing with players far older than him with him at just 17-years-old and so he certainly looks like one to watch for the future.
Watch, indeed, clubs including ourselves have with the likes of Chelsea, Man United and Arsenal all taking in his displays ahead of potential moves.
It looks as though he could be set for quite the decision at some point and so if the Reds want him they’ll need to make it as attractive as possible.
With Jurgen Klopp and the pull of our club, though, we should feel fairly confident we can put a good offer in.
