It may be one of the quietest transfer windows for some time for the Reds but that’s not for the want of trying if you believe everything you read.
The Reds have been linked with a whole host of names over the past few weeks and, indeed, prior to the window opening but none have come to fruition to date.
Even so, the rumour mill is continuing to churn out names that the Reds might sign – as it will do long past this month – and one of the latest is Tony Gallacher from Falkirk – according to The Daily Mail.
The young defender has generated a great deal of interest in him thanks to his performances north of the border to the extent where, if the Reds want to sign him, we need to prepare for a transfer battle.
The likes of Barcelona, Manchester United and Chelsea are all reportedly keen on bringing him in and so he looks set to have quite a few options coming his way.
