It’s almost time for the League Cup semi-final 2nd leg against Southampton and we cannot wait to see the Reds get out onto the Anfield pitch.
These occasions always remind us of the great semi-finals gone by – regardless of competition – and we’re hoping for another superb atmosphere to get the boys up for the game.
We need to be, too, with the Saints leading 1-0 from a first leg where we did very little to warrant a place in the final.
We need to change that, then, and put in a performance to remind everyone just how good we can be – especially after the loss against Swansea on Saturday.
Jurgen Klopp may be tempted to make some changes in light of that game, too, and so we’ve been trying to think where those changes could occur.
