We’ve been waiting patiently for signings this window and as the deadline approaches – we’re still yet to see a new player come in.
Going into this window we were well in the title race and had every chance of winning the league if we managed to bolster our squad and compensate for Sadio Mane going to AFCON 2017.
Indeed, we had the thinnest squad of all the title challengers anyway and so it would have made sense for more players to come in.
Nevertheless, that isn’t what has happened and it’s down to the likes of Christian Pulisic signing a new contract with Dortmund – as revealed by the club on Twitter:

The winger had been linked with the Reds for some time throughout this window and before with the Jurgen Klopp factor apparently key but that looks to have all fallen by the wayside now.
If we are to sign him we’re going to have to fork out quite a bit now you’d imagine – that’s if we even go for him.
