The transfer window is in it’s final week and we’ll be pretty pleased to see the back of it if we’re brutally honest.
Whilst it’s nice to see what potential players could be joining the club it’s also a real pain to note that hardly any of them will actually arrive – especially after this window.
The Reds have not signed anyone to date and we’re not sure if we actually will so this latest news can hardly come as a surprise when it appears we’re going to miss out on another target.
The agent of Franck Kessie has said before that the Reds are interested (via The Daily Star,) but despite that the outlet is now reporting Chelsea have made a bid for him.
It’s thought to be at £27 million (€31.7 million) and, though it has been rejected, at least they are appearing active in these final few days of the market.
It remains to be seen what Klopp has up his sleeves but we’re not holding our breath.
