It’s been a sorry month for the Reds this January both on and off the pitch, giving our critics plenty of ammunition to fire at us.
And, to be fair, most of it has been warranted with some very abject and tired looking displays in the last few weeks.
Crashing out of both cup competitions and seeing our title chances reduced to very little was not the January any of us would have had in mind but here we are with a crucial game against Chelsea tomorrow.
It’s time now to get going once again and forget what’s happened recently in a bid to finish the season strongly and at least finish in the top four.
Do that and we’ll probably accept this season as decent enough but for sure there are some areas that we need to improve on before doing that.
