There’s less than 48 hours for the Reds to wake up and do something in this transfer window before Jurgen Klopp has to make do with what we’ve got.
Certainly, up until this month it appeared we may be able to get away with not signing anyone but that assumption has come back to haunt us with things taking a real turn for the worse in recent weeks.
The general consensus was we did need to sign players, though, and despite that we simply haven’t managed to do any business in very disappointing fashion.
Even so, we’re hoping the last few hours in the window offer some sort of hope and so perhaps the Reds will go back to some names linked this month.
