We feel the centre half should be right at the top of our shopping list this winter.
The Reds, if they are going to seriously win the league this season, still need a bit of defensive improvement and we think the Dutchman should be the man to come in. Southampton would obviously want to keep hold of him but with them beginning to look leggy this season we should try and prise him away with a strong bid.
