In what’s been one of the most baffling stories we’ve come across in recent times, the Reds are apparently interested in Gaston Ramirez – according to Tuttomercatoweb.
Whilst we’ve grown fairly accustomed to relatively unknown players being linked with the club thanks to the arrival of Jurgen Klopp, we still were not expecting this one.
The Uruguayan isn’t even unknown, of course, we’ve all seen him in the Premier League and for that reason it makes even less sense as to why we’d be interested.
Indeed, whilst he’s shown small flashes of what he can do with Boro he’s hardly torn the Premier League up in the north-east and so we can’t see this one working at all.
Certainly, it may not even come to pass but if it did we feel that Jurgen would have some work to do to convince us that he’s worth having in and around the squad.
