As quoted by Sky Sports, Slaven Bilic has revealed his admiration for long-term reported Reds target Joe Hart.
Tuttosport (via The Express) ran with a story most recently that the Reds have expressed their interest to Manchester City over signing the stopper but it now appears that we could have competition.
Sky Sports are already of the opinion that the Hammers would like to sign the on-loan Torino ‘keeper in the summer and their Croatian manager’s words certainly suggest he is a fan.
Bilic stopped at saying they would like to make a move for Hart but he certainly enthused about the England number 1.
He said:
“We are heavily linked with every player looking for a move. I rate Joe Hart really highly as a great goalkeeper and personality.”
Hart is certainly a top ‘keeper and would solve our issues back there at the moment but it really could end up being quite the battle for him if we do decide to make a concrete offer along with the Hammers.
