Whilst we’ve been away from the Premier League over the last week or so it’s easy to forget that the Reds do still have a goalkeeper issue that needs to be solved sooner rather than later.
First of all, we’re sorry we had to remind you but the latest bout of Premier League fixtures will once again shine a light on Simon Mignolet.
And, whilst he might excel under the pressure against Leicester City like he did against Spurs there’s always the chance he could do a Hull City, too.
Something still needs to be done in the summer, then, but the chances of us signing Samir Handanovic seem to have taken a hit.
We were linked with him by Corriere dello Sport (via The Daily Star) but Calciomercato reckon Man City are also in the chase now and so we’ll have to be ready to battle them going into the summer.
