Mats Hummels
Mats Hummels is one of the best defenders around and very much represents the top of our ambitions in terms of players we’d like to sign.
Of course, it’s unlikely we could prise him away from Bayern Munich but you get the feeling the Bundesliga side aren’t as good as they were right now and if he gets bored he might fancy a new challenge. It does seem far-fetched admittedly but he likes Jurgen Klopp and would turn us into proper title challengers.
