According to Sport Bild (via Talksport,) Liverpool are scouting American international Bobby Wood who is currently playing for Hamburg in Germany.
This wouldn’t be the first time we’ve scouted a relatively unknown player and it’s highly unlikely to be the last – especially with Jurgen Klopp in charge.
We’re obviously going for that surprise factor in our team, then, with many not really aware of the American international’s talents.
The striker does, however, have some ability with scoring nine goals this season for his German side as well as notching up 29 appearances for his nation.
He’s on an upward progression in his career, too, with him joining the Bundesliga side from Union Berlin and it appears his next move could be the making of him.
Hes also being linked with Everton and Leicester and so if Klopp decides he really wants him in light of our scouting reports, he’d better be ready to act quickly.
