According to The Telegraph, Liverpool will be looking for £30 million from potential buyers of Daniel Sturridge in the summer window.

Signed by Brendan Rodgers a few years ago now, Sturridge’s Liverpool career has been a tale of false dawns and frustrations combined with searing talent.

Indeed, the two opposites come hand in hand and we’ve only be left frustrated – as he has by his injuries – because we know how good he can be.

Now, though, the Reds look ready to let the England international go with him really struggling to get a first-team spot at the moment – despite our lack of goals.

He hasn’t managed to get on top of what Jurgen Klopp has asked of him this season and it really does seem that he’ll be plying his trade elsewhere next year.

£30 million seems a reasonable price, too, providing he can give whoever wants him assurances over his fitness.

Thoughts, Reds? Let us know below!
