According to The Daily Star, West Ham are believed to be thinking about selling Andy Carroll in order to try and make room ahead of a move for Daniel Sturridge.

Indeed, the Hammers have had a far from ideal season this year and only really look a threat when the injury-plagued Carroll is on the pitch.

As we know all too well, though, that is a pretty rare occurrence whilst you could hardly argue Sturridge is a regular face on the pitch either.

The Hammers are believed to be willing to spend £25 million on getting the England international, too, and we think that given that he’s barely playing, still suffering with injuries and not getting Klopp’s playing style, it could be worth it.

We’d surely be able to spend that money on a better-suited striker, too, and so whilst we think Sturridge can still be class, we think this is a deal worth serious consideration.
