According to Diario Gol in Spain, Real Madrid are interested in signing Joe Gomez off of us with him reportedly impressing those at the Bernabeu.

It shocked us, too, in all honest, with young former Charlton defender struggling with injury pretty much since he joined us suggesting there can’t be a lot for Real to go on to have such overtures.
Even so, apparently they do and so we may have to be braced for a rather surprising bid.
Gomez, to be fair, is a very exciting talent at the moment and when we have seen him play we’ve been very impressed by his strength, composure and adaptability.
All qualities that would put him in good stead for Los Blancos, too, but even with that said we still can’t see how it would benefit him in anyway in terms of playing and improving.
