As quoted by The Daily Star, Crystal Palace defender James Tomkins has revealed just how impressed he is with our on-loan defender Mamadou Sakho at the moment.
It’s been a very odd season for Sakho this time around with it looking like he wasn’t going to get a single game for the whole campaign.
Frozen out at Melwood after apparent discipline issues over the summer, the French defender wasn’t getting a look-in and duly joined Palace on loan in the January window.
Since then, though, he has impressed down in south London and his fellow defender James Tomkins has certainly had pleasing things to say:
“He’s been brilliant and I am enjoying my time as we learn from each other and let’s hope it can keep going.”
Certainly, Sakho does look to have had a good impact on things down at Selhurst Park and we’re hoping that when he comes back he’s ready to bury the hatchet with Jurgen and get things going again on the pitch.
