As per prominent journalist Kristian Walsh, Jurgen Klopp has revealed the latest on Emre Can’s contract situation at the club.
The Reds have got a very limited squad at the moment and so you can’t help but feel that what really needs to happen in the summer is serious investment without losing players.
Can, though, could go, with him yet to sign a new deal and little time left on his current contract.
But, when asked about the latest on the situation Jurgen Klopp seemed pretty relaxed about it all – unsurprisingly – as revealed by Walsh via his official Twitter account:
Klopp on Can contract: "We are in talks. Emre likes to be here. We really like him as a player and person. Nothing else to say."

Our take on it is that Can will stay at the club and sign a new deal with him still having much to learn to become the midfielder he sometimes threatens to be.
Under Klopp, too, he should be able to improve better than under most coaches about at the moment.
