According to Portuguese outlet A Bola, both the Reds and Manchester United have scouted Danilo of FC Porto recently with the potential for a move in the summer.
The holding midfielder has really improved this season for his current club side and at 25-years-old he is going to be coming into his prime soon.
He could be a really important player for us, then, given that we’ve not really got anyone in that position in our squad at the moment.
Jordan Henderson, Emre Can and Georginio Wijnaldum all have their limitations in terms of that position and so getting the Portuguese international might not be such a bad idea.
Indeed, we appear keen given that we’ve been taking a look at him and we certainly picked a good game to do so as Porto ran out 7-0 winners against Nacional over the weekend.
