Meyer is a top talent but he’s not the versatile player in the world.

That’s no bad thing, of course, but Jurgen Klopp does like his players to contribute in different phases of the pitch so a formation change may be needed to get the best out of him. Whether Klopp would want to do that and play him in the hole behind the striker remains to be seen.
