The race for the top four is well and truly upon us with five teams chasing for those remaining three places.
It’s three because, barring the most incredible of collapses, Chelsea will surely get one of them and so it’s between us, Arsenal, Spurs and the two Manchester clubs for the other spots.
You get the feeling it’s going to go to the wire, too, and so in many ways not having any other competition to play in at this point could come as the difference once we reach May.
Reaching the top four is a must this season for the Reds now as, otherwise, this campaign will have to go down as a failure and questions will have to be asked.
That’s for then, though, and in the meantime there’s every chance we can qualify for Europe’s premier competition.
