We’re coming up to a crucial pair of games in the Premier League season as our challenge for the top four continues.
After a large sigh of relief went up around Anfield at full-time on Sunday we’re now well placed for Manchester City and Everton in the weeks to come.
Indeed, it was an edgy affair against Burnley but we did manage to get through it with goals from Gini Wijnaldum and we have to say we’re more than pleased we finally know how to win ugly.
Now, then, we’ll need to build on that with big results against the Citizens and the Toffees and we reckon one man in particular is going to be key to those games and, indeed, the rest of the season.
Time, then, to look at why the sometimes much-maligned Emre Can is going to be the difference in our top four chase…
