According to L’Equipe via The Express, Liverpool are leading the race to sign Mahamadou Dembele with the club apparently having already held talks with the player and our representatives.
The Reds have seen a number of Dembele’s named in recent times but this one seems – if you believe the report – to be the most likely to happen.
The young PSG man is highly-rated, of course, and apparently has German clubs interested in him too whilst the French outlet is also claiming his current club are confident of keeping him.
A lot remains to be seen, then, but it does appear that if he does move away from the team from the French capital then we are in the best position to profit from that.
The real thing we want in the summer, though, is established names to improve our first-team side.
