According to The Telegraph, Kevin Stewart could be on his way to Brighton in the summer window as the Seagulls prepare for a Premier League campaign.
The team from the south coast have at last made it into the top flight and it appears as though the out-of-favour Reds midfielder could be one of their main targets.
Typically a holding midfielder, Stewart has never really shown enough to hold a place in the side down and is now at the stage where he isn’t going to improve massively from his current ability.
Clearly, then, he isn’t good enough for the club at the moment and so a move to the newly-promoted side should be about right for everyone involved.
And, though he’s not a key member of the team, we would expect a new player to come in and help bolster numbers in this instance.
