He’s an old fashioned winger
Most wingers these days play on the opposite side to the foot they are strongest on and cut inside.
We’ve seen with Sadio Mane, though, that having a player on his natural side adds width and stretches the game and we’d be getting the same with Costa. He’s primarily a left winger that likes to use his left foot and that would surely make our attacks more expansive.
