It’s been a real breakthrough year for some of our brightest young prospects this season and we’re hoping for plenty more of that in the coming campaigns.
We’ve seen our squad really tested at times this year thanks to injuries and the sheer smallness of it but at least we have managed to see that the club is producing a few good players.
Indeed, the best of the bunch right now have to be considered to be Ben Woodburn and Trent Alexander-Arnold with the pair impressing when they’ve played and even starting against Stoke at the weekend.
Naturally, though, we want to see the next young stars following them to the first team and so, with that in mind, here are the two that we think have got some of the best chances to do just that…
