As quoted by The Liverpool Echo, Lyon chairman Jean-Michel Aulas has said that Alexandre Lacazette could leave the French side in the summer – potentially coming as a boost for the Reds.
The Echo has already accredited us with an interest in the French striker and now it appears as though we could be handed a boost in the chase for him – though the likes of Arsenal are also linked with his name.
The Reds, then, will be eager to hear more from Aulas after what he has said with him admitting:
“If the club of Alex’s heart is capable of matching our demands, like Barcelona with Samuel Umtiti last year, then things will go well.”
This move, then, could just happen though it seems as though the player needs to be interested in a move to the Reds and, of course, we need to make an offer that is good enough for the French side to accept.
