According to The Telegraph, Liverpool are amongst a host of clubs that are interested in signing Jordan Pickford from Sunderland in the summer window.
The Reds have seen Simon Mignolet arguably have his best season at the club to date this time out but, despite that, there still has to be the suggestion that we should sign a new stopper.
Who that is, if we do go for one, of course remains to be seen but this report reckons the young Sunderland man could be the next attempt by us to get a solid, reliable ‘keeper in between the sticks.
For sure, Pickford has been one of the stars of the season despite the Black Cats going down without much of a fight this season and will surely be keen on a move away if the right offer comes along.
The likes of Arsenal, Everton and Manchester City are all reportedly interested, though, and so this could be some battle.
