According to Spanish outlet AS, Liverpool are in the chase to sign experienced goalkeeper Iker Casillas.
The Spanish stopper has had quite the career up to this date with his time at Real Madrid, of course, the standout period in that.
But, after a spell at Portuguese side Porto, it now appears that he is available to sign and it seems as though the Reds are linked with him having apparently held preliminary talks.
Now, of course, the Spaniard is a highly-skilled player in between the sticks but we would wonder whether or not he is really good enough for us anymore.
Indeed, there is a case to suggest we need another new goalkeeper but we think that we may need a new option with plenty more years left to avoid this situation coming up again soon.
