According to The Sunday World, Liverpool are going to have over £100 million to spend in the summer transfer window when it opens for business.
The Reds qualified for the Champions League play-offs yesterday as we beat Middlesbrough at Anfield 3-0 and now attention is already turning on to what we might do in the transfer window.
For sure, the men from Anfield need to sign a fair few players in the market to be ready for the extra games we’ll have next season and whilst it remains to be seen who comes in, it appears there is going to be money available.
Of course, £100 million doesn’t always seem like much these days in the transfer market but if used wisely and combined with the selling of some players, we should be able to get a fairly decent squad put together.
