You can pick pretty much any area on the pitch with the Reds and say it needs strengthening but there can be no doubt that defence is the priority in the summer.
Indeed, whilst we obviously want to see midfielders and strikers come in to add to our squad ahead of a potential Champions League campaign, defence is really where we want to see new faces.
For sure, the Reds’ back-line has made plenty of mistakes this season and throughout the last few years and that has let us down at really crucial times.
